I've just seen all the wonderful planes fly over my back garden to honour the Queen on her official birthday. Fabulous. It reminded me of last year when after the Olympian Parade the Red Arrows did their fly past over the City so I've dug out a couple of pictures I didn't upload from then. It seems I even got a seagull in V1 too. It should really have been a pigeon. Grin

V2 is classy, but I love the gull in V1! I'm glad you led with that one. As though it wanted to join in...

Love V1, like they came out of that bit of blue, the hole in the clouds. Flying over the lovely city with a seagull, having a birds eye view. Great set Chris.......Sandy

Before I read your write up, I thought 'A seagull has got in on the act in V1!' Wink Photographing aircraft in flight isn't easy, and I would imagine the Red Arrows is twice as difficult. Great set, Chris...especially V2 Smile

Great set , and yes v2 is very well done - I am going with v3 today , we don't often get to see the mix of coloured smoke afterwards SmileSmile

Yes, shame it's not a pigeon, but the gull is doing his best to join in! Love them all Chris -I'd never have thought to have taken a pic after the planes had gone as in v3. It works so well without the planes and those coloured clouds.

Ohhh...V2 is awesome! I really like Vs 1 and 3 too for the 'whole event'. Ann has a very good point about V3...works very well! I too would never have thought of taking it.

Wonderful Chris the formation of those jets are the star of the show and is what makes this image very different!
