..... and now we can't see him!
I'm glad I got a few shots of old Nelson's statue outside The Trafalgar pub in Greenwich a while ago as it's now gone and only the plinth is left. I wonder what happened. Perhaps he got stolen. Sad

Maybe he's having a renovation job, Chris Smile. An excellent composition and capture. Carol

"I wonder what Lord Nelson would have though if were to come back today?"

"I can see no ships only hardships"

Well composed on this one Chris - nice sense of depth to the image. I do hope he "comes" back.

Great use made of a great opportunity - sad that it's no longer available.
I sense his surprise, and a certain lack of approval...

Good use of selective focus and choice of b/w instead of colour. Like it.

Perhaps he's another victim of the governments military cuts? SmileSmile

I like the one Chris, maybe he's gone on draft as us old sailors say! Nicely captured!

Great composition. It makes you wonder what the skyline would have been like when he was alive.

Lord Nelson would demolish that bedwin tent contraption...
Love the image, and I do hope they put the bronze back!
