The food from this van did smell rather nice and the menu was OK but I deliberately passed by as I can't stand words that are misspelled on purpose. I'm as guilty as anyone else of not spelling correctly at times and am not knocking people who do have spelling difficulties but this sort of thing is not clever and it's not amusing.

Yep, you guessed it, I'm having a Grumpy Day! Grin

(But another big thanks to Source for the UA on Maj. There, that's something to smile about. Smile)

I don't think I'd be tempted either.

I had a bad experience from eating a burger from a stall like this and vowed never to risk it again!

I'm joining you re grumpy day!Smile

In Seahouses the other day we carefully avoided the Koffee & Kream coffee shop in favour of Rosemary's (with apostrophe) next door. We weren't disappointed.
I saw a pack of children's building blocks labelled BLOX in a supermarket trolley recently. No wonder children cannot spell.

I agree entirely with you, Chris, spelling in general - especially on shop signs which are supposed to be professionally done - is quite atrocious these days, with apostrophes missed out or put where they shouldn't be, and the deliberate miss-spelling doesn't encourage people to spell correctly either! Sad
Anyway, getting off my soapbox, this is a fine street candid, working well in mono Smile

That looks like a rather large lobster on the left hand side of the counter? I notice that on the snooker today they have the word 'creative' spelt 'kreatv'. No wonder we all get confused!
