Spotted a woodpigeon on a fencepost, rather hidden amongst dense bushes. The original isn't much to look at but once I tried a pinhole effect and did a bit of fiddling about it became a different picture altogether.

Many thanks for all your birthday wishes for yesterday. Have been immersed in reading instructions and looking at my stellarium ready for this evening's viewing and have found a local Astronomy Club which looks very good so I might pop along there later this week.

Yep.......excellent fiddling......has a comic book feel to it..........the wood pigeon could almost be a superhero on the lookout for trouble........(yes I am a little bit weird Blush)

The pigeon and the woodwork look like pencil or charcoal drawings, Chris. I 'fiddle' a lot and when I have found a pleasing effect, can never remember how I achieved it!

I stayed up til 11:30pm last night waiting for the moon to turn red. Didn't change one bit here. Hope you seen something with your new Birthday present. This is quite a fun image.
