The last picture I got of one of "my" doves and friends sitting on the bird feeder before the leylandii in the b/g came down.
Nothing special, but a nice view out of my living room window. The feeders have now been moved further down the garden so no birds have been starved due to the destruction of their previous sheltering place/hotel. ![]()
I know they're not too sharp but they just wouldn't keep still and my lens isn't built for bird photography. But it wasn't meant to be a masterpiece, just a record shot for me. ![]()
Cheers, Chris

Love your description............made me smile...........The collared dove is very much underrated, they are the most successful bird of these islands but most people ignore them.........they are very photogenic and they have such wonderful personalities.................![]()

I love starlings, they are so comical when they begin to squabble. We sometimes get a flock of hundreds landing in the back garden, the collared doves soon leave if they arrive.
Great shot.

A great image of our ordinary garden birds, reminds me of our residents
