Another shot from Rainham Marshes nature reserve in Essex. One side is all peace and tranquility, the other the main line trains and a scrap yard.

Wonderful combination of various contrasting elements, and a good choice of b/w to emphasise the contrasts.
Nice piece of work, like this a lot.

Knew exactly where you were before reading the description! Far too many people in a hurry to get nowhere!! Excellent contrast between the reeds and the rush Tongue

Maybe to calm us down as we travel at a rushed pace back and forth to work. Who knows why things are what they are. Seems theres a shortage of common sense in the world. A great shot of it........Sandy

I like it to be in mono, the energy runs horizontally over the the peace and quiet. Well done, Chris.

Told you I'd pop by. I like this, also other stuff in yr pf using movement. There's a restraint and a subtlety here that I admire, and somehow a strong sense of easy control. I'm talking about yr pf in general there, but this particular image is one I could keep coming back to~ superficially simple, as the best images often are, but very accomplished. Nice one, Slow.

P.S. Anything good in the scrapyard? Or is it a no go?
