Taken from inside the lift at the mall. Nothing special. Tweaked it a bit, desaturated, a bit of high key and lightened. I wanted to make the most of the light coming in from the roof.

Levels and Curves comes to mind...
There's a beauty in the coldness, anonymity of such places. On the screen at least.
Above all this respects the light, uses it.

This would be as dull as a brick if it wasn't for the light, Chris. The horizontal curves and horizontal straights give a very good pattern. Even the numbers seem to have been chosen to match the other curves of the stairwell.
