Anytime, anyplace, anywhere. Eating, eating, eating. The steps of St Pauls is a popular picnic area.

Organic to boot..........GrinGrinGrin

It looks like a cold cloudy day and thankfully dry, I don'r know why she has opted for something cold instead of a pot noodle soup (haha) but that is freedom of choice. The picture can display the same message of carelessness of the surroundings even if the two feet on the right, as well as the base of the lamp-post, were removed; the two feet on the left give sufficient validity to the expression 'as people go by'. If I were the president f the yogurt company I would have preferred a crop where she is the only visible person, eating our healthy yogurt outdoors. If she is a worker in a company I'd be concerned about their break facilities.

Its not something you see everyday, but a candid capture of this quality certainly deserves an upload ...

People eat on the move, work on the move, drink on the move (I no longer bother to count how many white-van drivers we see every day driving while on the phone, a plastic cup of coffee alongside the tabloid on the dashboard) and unless the nearest waste bin is actually within reach when consumption is completed the wrapper/packet/leftovers go on the deck. This lady may or may not . . . .

I am much too grumpy for the Grumpy Group, there are not sufficient hours in a day for all my grumping to surface BlushBlushBlushBlushBlush

I like the disembodied feet & legs: they show just how commonplace the scene is; while the simple paving slabs against which Yoghurt Lady is seated match her calm demeanour and the complicated pattern of smaller stones further away emphasise the rush of passers-by. Excellent dynamic, excellent mono.

Regards
Bill

My motto GrinGrin

I like how this pic shows two good ways to be healthy. Brisk walking (wide strides up there) and yoghurt. Unless that's a massive vanilla pudding...phwoar...

Well composed and shot, Chris, and nicely toned.

Great composition, with the inclusion of the legs near the top. Like the zig-zaggy effect in the paving, too Wink

Two open bags in front of her in case she doesn't like the taste.
