Years ago I had a stall in Spitalfields Market selling photographs. The people were really interesting to watch and I did a few candid documentary shots when I could. This is one of them. The original darkroom print shows so much more detail, but unfortunately I can't replicate it digitally.

Thank you for looking. Chris

I can see were you'ree coming from, urban and gritty.
Maybe a tad more contrast and even add a bit of noise to it, may give it a bit more bite, IMHO.

A good documentry image that portrays the hustle and bustle of street markets very well. I like how the taller figure seems to be going against the flow of the crowd. The hooded figure in the background with no face looks a little bit scary.... Very appropriate for this time of year ! Judging by the high standard of your portfolio, I'm sure you must have sold a number of photographs ! Smile

Excellent candid, the contrast of movement and static is great. I like the toning too.

Thank you Phil. Unfortunately I never made a profit as the market was so good I'd go and spend any takings during the day! And it was very cold in winter. Smile
