Taken inside the Tate Modern looking out through gauze curtains to St Pauls. Was quite tricky lighting-wise, (and security man-wise), so this was a grab shot. (Scanned)

Have reposted this image as I had some very good tips from Randomrubble (many thanks)and have just got round to re-doing it.

I have seen this view so many times and understand the difficulties of producing a good image from it. Excellent shot and nice composition.

Very well done, I can see that the lighting would be tricky on this shot, you have done well to get the view of St Paul and the city through the gauze and good lighting inside as well, b & w suits the shot,
Mark.

Have done this myself in the past Chris. Was caught taking an image and told to put the canera away ! Sneak photography is fun. Another fine image to add to your p/f. Ron.

Its all been said above about lighting difficulties, etc. The composition is good and the image has been done to perfection.

It's funny how my eye went straight to the black object on the left. Nice subtle tones and an extra click for bravery ! Wink

A great composition with the high windows and the skyline peeping through. The curtain gives it a lovely soft feel which works very well against the clean lines.

I love this image. It exudes peace and elegance, the tones and composition work well together, but what really appeals to me is the way this strange and rather insignificant little sculpture seems to hold the whole of London and all its long history in disdain.

Well worth this weeks Blue Diamond I think.

Excellent and very arty shot. I tried to take one of the Dome thru' the window but the security guy pounced on me.
