I liked the look of the huge bolts holding the tension cables of the Millennium Bridge, but decided to jazz them up a bit.
PS. I changed the background colour as per DaveU's suggestion. The white keyline is just different sizes now.

great approach for an abstract image - it is always a wonderful thing to find something interesting that would probably usually go unnoticed and makes a strong full of impact creation ![]()
i like doing similar thing with macro photography finding interesting shapes and patterns in tiny stuff ![]()

I prefer the narrower border on V2.
The shot looks slightly dostorted to me, like you've reduced the height of the shot but not the width, squashing it downward slightly. Could be just the angle.
