Lizardfish are one of the easier fish to photograph because they belong to the "you can't see me if I don't move" club. They will spook if you get too close but this was one of the more accepting ones I have encountered.

Taken in the far north of Queensland, Australia while on the Undersea Explorer (2005, I think).

What a gorgeous creature, beautifully photographed - makes me wish I could swim!

thats an amazing animal...look at those teeth!! We used to have a snakehead fish who would devour 20+ goldfish in a sitting and to try and picture him was impossible...
