Another from Newby Hall. I tried quite a bit of 'exposing for HDR' that day so I am trying to get my head around the technique.

Nice shot and a great original viewpoint. I'd say the tone mapping could maybe be a tiny bit more subtle but it works very nicely nonetheless. Is it my imagination or have I seen this shot on here before quite a while ago?

Good viewpoint and resulting composition Steve but feels a touch light to me. Would probably benefit from a touch more contrast.

Keep at it Steve, this is a great shot and I love the natural contrast of the rough bark against the soft sunlight and leaves.

I do agree with previous comments about tone mapping and been too light - but I am a dark person anyway plus I always over compensate colours when doing HDR. Fun this innit?
