Love the shot but would definitely crop off some of the right side - to remove what looks like an external air conditioning unit - eye gets drawn to this.

Thanks for the comments. With the background, the idea was to add some of the environment.

great composition, great photo. click

This is a great shot. It has bags of detail (good lighting & exposure), it is well setup and the pose is perfect. Nice one.

Thanks for comments.

Chris - Yes was worth it, met my needs as I'm starting to learn portraiture and lighting techniques. Jonathan Ryan and our own Paul Ward have different styles, but the its the results that count. You get to have quite a bit of time with the models, and setting up the lighting yourself too. The course I attended was the first, so I'd expect some fine tuning for the next one.

A clasy portrait Trev. Superb stuff!
There a an object creaping into the right edge of the frame, but this can easily be cropped out.

Wow Trev, you've been busy! Looks like you are learning fast too, I think this looks excellent.

Fantastic Trev - I agre with the comment about more light on the left, but b*gger me, you're coming on in leaps and bounds! (and making me more than a little jealous!) Good on yer mate
