Very well seen and captured, Sue, I can see why you were drawn to this small area, where there are so many lines and shapes.
I like the way you have taken the line into the top right corner, and the curve into the bottom right too.
As an abstract style image in mono, you could afford to push your contrast a little more, and I'd also be inclined to clone out the dark mark on the left frame. I wouldn't just crop the left side because you'd remove too much of the area with the straight lines.
