Good effort, well exposed but just looks a little dull. Such scenes look better with the light shining through the mist. may be possible to lift with a little contrast boost.

Very atmospheric. I don't think you need quite so much sky though. I've uploaded a mod which crops down to the main branch to use it as a frame at the top. The proportions fit better with the horizontal nature of the image as well. Boosted the contrast and the colour as well.

It looks to me as though it could do with a slight anticlockwise rotation, for aesthetic purposes. It is a nice atmospheric shot, though the colours are muted, especially in the sky, which would be so much better if it were more yellow. A crop to a more letterbox shape would suit well too, methinks.

Might try a mod.

'Straightening' an image like this is often a subjective matter. Unless the opposite bank is perfectly parallel with the camera's viewpoint, it will appear to slope, which then implies that the water itself is sloping. The light catching the ripples in the foreground looks perfectly level so I would suggest skewing the top right corner up a few degrees - that would leave the lines at the bottom almost unaffected.
I like the delicacy here. A little more brightness, a little more yellow needed perhaps, but not a lot. Keep the subtlety but give a bit more depth to the scene, a bit more texture to the mist. Will attempt a Mod.

I've uploaded a Mod but forgot to give an explanation. I skewed the top right corner up a bit - this makes the opposite bank look 'right' but doesn't affect that level-looking ripples at the bottom of the frame. Then I increased saturation and lightness on yellow, and made a slight Levels adjustment. I used the dodge and burn tools a bit on the ripples. Nothing extreme, I really like the subtlety of the original.
