Is this the appropriate way of doing high key ?? Pleease help. I think I like low key much more. I will add more photo details later as wel as exif data

You give us no exposure information to go on again. High key is a faint image with one or more clearly defined points. This is over exposed rather than high key, an entirely different effect. You need the lighting correct, but without burnt out spots and greater depth of field. Cannot be more specific with no detail.
I've uploaded two mods, which is the closest I can come to converting your image to high key. Like Paul said, the image is overexposed and you have blown highlights on one side and shadow on the other side, so the mods aren't brilliant. Next time maybe try and put either a fill flash on the shadow side, or use a reflector - any white surface will do, even a white sheet of paper of a wall. You've also chopped the toe of the shoe off - maybe leave a bit more space in front of the shoe for it to 'walk' into. The background also looks very yellow. I hope this helps
