Agree with Eric.

Had a quick play in PS with this and using a levels layer and a bit of dodge and burn birghtened it up a bit, plus gave it a bit more bite in the contrast.

It's a lovely subject though, and the composition is spot on for me.

Doesn't look like it needs brightening to me, looks great. Does look like IR though, what technique did you use to produce this?
