Been taking some shots...well trying to lol at at bird hide Dawn and I have been going to at Coombe Abbey recently. I was hoping to find something half decent to put up for my 100th upload on epz...Well I found this one I took from last April that I had forgotten all about. I hope you like it. I think it`s a male Chaffinch. The colours on him were very vivid.

You've got some beautiful colour on the bird, Chris, and I also like the texture on the wood.
very good but lacks the colour and detail of your upload of 12.05.06 - a favourite of mine 
Sandra, I had to go back through his portfolio to see what you were on about then, how funny! I doubt he can ever beat that one but this comes a close second
Chris, I know you haven't saturated this with colour cos I saw the original straight from the camera. Impressive.
