Good morning everyone,thanks very much for all the comments and clicks on my last upload,very grateful has always.
Here is another image of a greenfinch caught after sitting in my hide for several hours yesterday.
Tripod.
Cable Release Used.

Thanks a lot Gerry,it took some doing lol, I spent about 4 or 5 hrs in my hide with the camera on the tripod and had a small hole to look through to wait for something to land on the perch in the right position ,the slightest movement and they are off, don't they realize it's me that feeds them lol , alls I ask is they sit nice for me lol ........like watching paint drying lol , too hot to sit today.

When I grow up and start taking bird photo's I'd like to take one just like it. 
Very nicely coloured and the detail is lovely.

Nice one Jean. The background colour really compliments the finch's plumage and the composition works very well with nothing to clutter the view of the bird. Like it.
