After Northumbria Steven and I travelled eastwards and went through the Lake District - we have never actually stopped there before - simply bypassing on the way to Scotland or wherever. Ullswater in the fading light.
I am sure this is a much photographed spot but we spent far longer here than we meant to - a wonderful, beautiful place that took my breath away. An unadulterated image - (though I do love a bit of adulteration!) apart from a tweak in levels. Don't worry, there is not likely to be many more - my camera card became corrupted and I lost most of my images! Boo hoo!
Thank you so much for your lovely comments on my last upload.
