A re-post of an old favourite. I've taken advantage of the e2 thing to post a large version which makes it a lot easier to see the onlookers. The reason that some of them have their heads at odd angles is that the artist painted his pictures upside down, only turning them the right way when they were finished.

Very good picture, although that artist is wearing a suit and its filthy!!!
Very good image though love it, well captured.
Absolutely superb capture Michael - love the way the painter is right on the edge and the focus then goes to the onlookers - the wee lad bent over to look upside down at the painter's work is wonderful. I could look at this for ages to smile at all those quizzical expressions. A cracker. Bruce
Hi Michael,
This is a fantastic shot, love the close up of the painter,he's covered in paint and the pot with his brushes in is too,it's so natural and cool.Love the kids looking upside down and sideways to try and see what he's doing the way it will end up.You've got a really wicked shot here.It rocks.Take care.Ann![]()
good streetscene, with a nice connection between the two points of focus, the painter and the onlooker. the paint splatter and the upside down looking people are great bonuses
This is great, I like the fact you haven't taken the obvious route of including his painting.
