This evening I crashed my beloved GS. In the blink of an eye he lost his footing and spat me off and I watched as the two of us slid down the road. I watched in slow motion as the GS made sparks along the tarmac and the picture was so surreal and so wrong.
Now Mr GS has to go to bike hospital. I hope he will be well again soon. He's a tough guy. I'm sure all will be well.

Ouch! The abandoned helmet in the cracked mirror tells the story but I too like the plate! At least the camera bag obviously survived. (Oh and you as well...) I assume we won't be seeing you in Northumberland in the near future...

Oops, as they say. Having made his acquaintance I am sorry to hear of his mishap.
This is a skilfully composed photograph so I must assume that you were less damaged! Hope so ...
Bill

Thanks people.

I am undamaged. Unfortunately the damage to the bike will go into 4 figures. Never mind. That's what mechanics and insurance is for!

I will be back!

Possibly not in Northumberland...possibly not in the next few weeks :-(

At least it's not in the middle of the best part of the riding season. And it was an interesting experience if nothing else.

Off to see Mr BMW now. Catch you later.

Ken.
