Hi All,
Another go with the zoom blur technique. This time I mounted it on a tripod, added a polariser filter (it was bright sun and I wanted the shutter speed down). I tried with and without the 'shake reduction' function, turned out to be better with it on. I figured it might since the camera is still being rocked hard by my cranking the zoom.
Shutter speed was 1/20 sec and I had the aperture at f/8. I played around with various speeds from 1/10 to about 1/30, but this seemed to work best. I also lightly layered in the central flower focused sharp.
Because the zoom blur is necessarily a 'centered' technique I cropped it afterward to the 'golden spiral'.
How's it looking now?
Doug
