A few months back I travelled to St Mary's Lighthouse located in Whitley Bay. When i arrived there were around a dozen photographers snapping away at the gorgeous sunset which made it difficult to find a good vantage point. After the sun had set all but myself and another photographer were left, a guy called Mark. We got talking about star trails and after he left I thought id do one featuring the beloved St Mary's Lighthouse.
After I set up this shot and left my camera to do its thing I sat on the driest rock i could find and took in this gorgeous night time scene around me.
