Lovely detail. The eyes really stand out.
Great shot, nice one.
Good use of selective colouration to make the eyes really stand out, maybe just a tad noisy on the bground in the large version but easily cured .
Wasn't sure what to do with the noise, would appreciate any advice! Cheers.
Hi Lauren, I had a go at removing the noise using a program call Neat Image. What I did was select the bg & put it through neat image at 100%, that I think killed the bg noise, I also trimmed the beak a bit & it was well over grown, this is something the keeper will need to do for real sometime.
Cracking shot of a beautiful bird. I like the way you kept the eye detail, looks really good.
Ah ok, thanks, Vince. That's better.
Striking image, great close up detail. Well done.
Superb piece of work Lauren - love the effect of those eyes.
Nothing to modify here, good work/capture.
superb great selective colour. great detail sandyb
Eye's are perfect! Noise is a problem
Stunning shot, the eyes are so mesmerising that I didn't even see the noise.
Just popped in to see how this image got on, there it is, an HC. Congratulations Lauren, simply well deserved.
Cheers again all, I will have a go at fixing the noise problem tonight. Thanks for all the feedback.
The selective colouring works really well on this - a very striking image. Congrats on the well deserved HC.
Congs on the HC, it's an excellent image.
