Classy shot, would work better in mono and remove the shadow from the hand caused by the Mike lead ... other than that a great bit of photography.

Dan

Thanks for the feedback. I tried it in mono but thought it looked cold.

I was about to give it an EC even before I looked at what you'd done. Great PS work!

Wow, superb background removal - I'd never have known! I love the fact that the reflections and shadows could just as well be day or night. Great work - and congratulations!

Before reading the description I thought you'd taken it in a club (although on closer inspection the reflection in his glasses gives it away a bit). A bit of whispy smoke could further the illusion.

Fantastic work in PS.
Its a strong and very expressive capture.
Like a lot.
Good title and very good work.

Noe

Once again glad I took the time to come back to this one. I still would like to see the mono version and hope you post it in the mods - but after seeing the PS work, I agree this is stunning.

Dan

Uploaded a duotone version .. was a swift edit so excuse the shoddy PS work.

Stunning, great PS work too. Also, pleasing to see the results achieved with a kit lens - who says you have to pay loads of money for L lenses to get great results?
