There's definately a lot of bird shots on here, but if they're as good as this then I'm happy to have more. Excellent capture, but maybe the owl needs to be sharpened slightly? Still a great image *click*

An excellent photo. I am not usually a fan of wildlife images but this stands out as it is a pleasing image aswell. The composition works very well. Well Done, "click"

I agree that the owl looks a little unsharp, but the composition is excellent, and I like the lighting in the blurred background.

Thanks for the comments - I can't seem to submit any photo that's not commented on for being "unsharp". The owl is sharp in the body+head on my comp, the wings r slightly blurred. LOL! Oh well.

When you resize to 500 pixels, do you apply a little USM in PS ? If not try USM at 80 strength, 0.8 pixels & no threshold, that may work
