really stands out against the background and well composed. I have a very similar shot to this but haven't uploaded it as i don't think it stands out in the green background its in and probably doesn't work like yours does.

Its an Oak Bush Cricket btw. They are most active after dark and attracted to lit windows and quite commonly found in houses. Yours is a female with the curved ovipositor.

A high quality nature shot, ideal background tone and texture and optimum d o f on the insect. I like the rich green colour of the insect, and the fact that both antennae are sharp enough to see them right to the tips. You haven't forgotten your earlier training, obviously, your portfolio is evidence of this.
