Very difficult conditions.
I remember last year until October, kingfisher pictures did not get really good.
Apart from the spring, breeding season, the winter is the time to photograph the kingfishers.

Another absolutely fabulous image Alan.
It's always nice when they do something other than sit on a branch, even if it is only holding food. It just adds that little extra to a shot.
