definitively a trace to follow or, maybe the wording is not the best, a great source of inspiration, that show us the way to walk.

Hi Stephen
Great shot with those wonderful eyes. Two things with portraits that I have found, are avoid hands near the face. Very hard to great right and a little edge darkening helps to draw the eye to the face.
