Must be one of the weirdest natural images I have seen (plenty, of course, after expensive manipulation), Barbara.
The seagull seems totally relaxed with her strange bed fellow and odd nesting basis.
Well spotted and captured.

And it anybody is going to find the unusual it's our Barbara!!!
The tyre doesn't look as if it'll last long up there.
Strange bed mates for those birds.
Very well seen.

I never tyre of viewing your amusing images Barbara, it does not look like it has been a Goodyear for this gargoyle having to share a home with a seagull!Grin

Amazing image - perhaps the gargoyle keeps the predators away - and the utilization of the old tyre is first class recycling! Great POV - brilliant capture.

Totally barmy, and wonderful. Delighted to make this 30. I'd kill to have taken it. The tyre as a nest would be funny enough, the squatter is just surreal, and the fact that the gull is watching him sulk is the icing on the cake.
Would the image stand a tighter crop I wonder? You need to keep the gulls circling, but could maybe get rid of a bit of the surroundings? That doesn't matter, this is gold.
