Those of you who have read my prattlings before will know how much I love gulls. Their beauty and elegance in the air to me is entirely spiritual. This is an image from the local cemetery where the gulls seem to fly about as though they belong there - are they carrying souls away I wonder --- I like to think so.

I'd guess those who find birds frightening would be even more terrified by them flying around a graveyard in the dark, so good you think of them in a much more positive manner! Makes a fascinating image.

I've no love for herring gulls - especially after one snatched a quarter of my tuna sandwich from under my nose outside the 'Cod & Lobster' pub in Staithes about 3 years ago! Sad
A rather spooky and surrealistic shot here, Sue, but very effective Wink

Sue, what a stunning image! So unusual. It is odd to think of gulls in a cemetery.

I like gulls too Sue, but our local paper features a bad story about gulls - on a weekly basis. Therefore I hope they are carrying off the reporters of that paper WinkGrin. Good piece of work. Moira

Sue, you have made this scene something very reverent and special. You have convinced me that the gulls are guiding souls.
Nicely done.
