A delve into the archives for one I thought was actually already in my collection here. Early morning in the harbour at Staithes where the only sounds were squawking gulls up on the cliff , the lapping of the water as the tide rose and a faint phut, phut ,phut of a marine diesel engine heading out to sea, bliss !

I don't think I've ever seen Staithes shot from this angle before. Superb, Sam, the colour in the sky and the detail is exceptional in the early morning light.
