Todays upload was taken yesterday evening at Saltburn pier. I decided to head over there after checking the weather it seemed a god idea. It was very cold and windy stood along the pier so i managed to get a few shots before haveing to head back to the car because my hands were numb lol (Note to myself where gloves next time).

Thanks for all comments and votes on yesterday uploads of "Sandsend Golden Light"

Enjoy your day

Steve..

Well worth the cold hands, a lovely shot. I might have been tempted to clone out the Red safety equipment, just a personal thought.

Well done Steve.

A super shot Stephen, lovely low light where it matters, a wonderful composition.
Just as a note - my daughter bought me a scarf for Christmas that has "pockets" in it (in the ends, for your hands, and one in the middle, for your neck) which holds small pouches. These pouches are warmed up in a microwave and the heat is supposed to last for ages! Haven't tried it out yet, but might be worth considering on a cold night!!

Excellent image. What works is the end of pier is at the same as the horizon.

Definitely need to have some gloves in the very cold weather, Steve, mine were never off when I took all my Christmas images!
This was worth getting cold hands for, though, it's a cracking capture, one of your best, I think Smile

Excellent Steve, I'm glad you left the safety equipment in , after all it is part of the pier. Had it been a bit of litter, yes.
