I found this Shieldbug resting on the pool balcony while on holiday in Corfu.

Thanks for the comments and votes folks.
I am still often amazed at the quality of some of the shots from the Lumix.
I tend to take that rather than my 40D when I go on "normal" holidays to make it easy to get around but still get reasonable images.
I find that I sometimes have to force myself to treat it seriously, as it is so small and light.
It was only really trying to take shots of birds in flight that I found really hard but, again, it is easy to forget that the tele end of the zoom is nearly 500mm (35mm equiv).
