Media City

I shot this nearly a year ago for the company I work for who are heavily involved with the masterplan of Media City in Manchester. The light was simply fantastic and the purple & blue hues in the evening sky together with the fiery glow of the setting sun set of the reflections on the building superbly. The post processing on this image was minimal in terms of the ambience and lighting, just a touch of fill light and slight contrast and vibrancy increases to the RAW file to bring out the subtleties of all the hues recorded. There is however a fir bit of cloning to remove three cranes from the skyline as the image was intended as a marketing image for the company. I have uploaded the image with cranes as a modification image if you are interested to see. The site is at a much more complete stage now and I hope to be heading out to Manchester to photograph it again soon.
