Taken back in the rutting season at Bushy Park, Hampton one Sunday morning with anders 25. I spotted this Heron on the way back from the coffee shop to the Deer skulking on the edge of the stream.

Like this as it's different from the norm with a green background and no water in sight.

excellent capture, i would be curious to see it in portrait mode, just to compare ( maye effect would be different, not necessary better, really don't know)

I think it would confuse the shot because the grass on the left would just be there on the edge of the frame rather than a source of where it came from and also the blades of grass seem to frame the beak.

I really appreciate the comment as it makes me look at the shot your way and actually analyse the comp more, so thank you
