A shot from a couple of months ago when on a day trip to Bodiam then Hastings and on my way home I stopped off for the first time here.

Quite late in the day round 2pm and the frost was still on the plants and trees, the lake was frozen the clouds parted and the sun came out, just for me lol.

I was quite happy with this shot for my first time....comments and crits welcome, thanks in advance, Steve

Love the water - Would benifit ( I think ) from a little leveling, but a great shot none the less

That's a nicely balanced scene.
I like the way the cloud reflections follow the shape of the foreground. It all works rather well.

Aw Scotney - just a stones throw away from me! What a beautiful location and a beautiful image! I have been here so many times before but never seen it in winters light with the added frost - so well done Steve!

The clarity / saturation / sharpness of this reminds me quite clearly of my Velvia MF transparencies.

Do like the the composition with this one with plenty of interest for the eye to wander around.

Maybe it is a little on the dark side... increasing exposure would not work as that would blow the highlights in the white clouds, so some "fill" or "brighten shadows" with a touch of contrast adjustment brightens the building and makes the reflection "pop".

I tried it but you have not allowed modifications, so cannot show you.

You certainly whizz around, I would probably still have been at Bodiam setting up the tripod for the first shot Wink
