Thankyou Neil, what a great start to my membership here! (Only been here 5 minutes!). As it happens I was in Scarborough yesterday with another member here, Chris, never visited the castle though, but had a nice walk along the front and managed to get a couple of nice pictures.

Shame the sky was a bit flat but its a nice shot anyway

Thanks all,

Yeah the sky annoyed me but as a person who doesn't like to edit too much in photoshop, there wasn't a lot I could do about it unfortunately, I like to leave photo's as they are as much as I can - I'm a togger not a shopper lol

Then you will need to ensure that the conditions are right for the image you want to get. Using PS would give this image a great boost without going over the top.

Good enough composition but it needs some drama. Go back when there is detail in the sky or at sunrise or sunset.
