This was the view from the cottage we were staying in, which incidentally used to be the old lifeboat house and is built into the sea wall itself. Truly beautiful place to spend some time looking across the estuary, and a photographer's dream, shame we didn't get any good sunsets whilst we were there.
Took this using a 2 stop soft edged grad to correctly expose the sky, taken at f/16, 1/200sec and ISO100, all on a tripod of course. The image is as shot, except for the letterbox crop and border which I added in Elements.
