Just a quick upload today from yesterday's airshow at Shoreham. Despite the weather we did get to see some of the displays although many were rained off. And , of course the ones I partically wanted to see didn't turn up.
I know this won't score very highly as it's a total deviation from my normal photo's, but I wanted to have a go at photographing something different and an airshow seemed to be a perfect opportunity. The weather did not help with blanket cloud and showers, so bad lighting, grey skies and keeping dry were all there to hinder any decent shots.
I will interested to here any comments that will allow me to improve this type of photography.
Enjoy the rest of a wet weekend.
Steve.

ps. Sorry Ive been very busy and haven't been around much. I will endeavor to catch up with you all later.

I like it a lot Steve. I can understand your frustration with the conditions as exactly the same thing happened to me at Fairford this year. My first airshow and the weather was lousy. Your shot is a super effort.

Large version shows that you've captured the 'plane perfectly, Steve. Good panning skills in retaining all the main details while the prop & the b/g remain nicely blurred to produce the effect of speed.
