I've seen birds, sqirrels, mice and even rats on feeders but the first time I have seen a duck. This Mandarin Duck obviously took a fancy to the seed and as there were few birds around to drop the seed conveiniently for him, he decided to help himself. Unfortunately for him unsuccessfully, his beak didn't quite fit. I don't expect this to score highly, it's just a bit of fun. Looks better large.
This isn't the best of exposures because of the bright sunlight but I liked it for the amusement factor. I hope you do too. Taken at Arundel WWT on Sunday.
