Have you noticed that white birds, whether it is a Gull or Swan are nearly always so pristine white, probably due to all the preening. Here are a couple of studies of pristine Mute Swans.

This is my last upload. For reasons I won't bore you with.

I might upload again at some point in the future, who knows?

Thanks for all the support and encouragement, the comments, awards and votes. Every one has been very much appreciated. I have met and made many friends.

Have a great weekend.
Steve.

Of today's shots, I am not going with the crowd and am voting for V 2.
All the best, mate!

V1 for me, a very beautiful shot Steve! I do hope you'll return soon...as you know, I feel the same way but did realise a few days ago that I'd really prefer a few comments from people whose work I admire and whose opinion I value to 100 clicks from a 'click club' that don't say anything about the quality of my work. Of course I respect your decision but do hope that you'll come back! Smile

Fisrt class shot Steve. Its not easy to produce an original shot of a bird like the Swan but I think you have done just that here. Strong and imaginative crop. Not too sure about V 2; the upside down effect did not sit too well.

Steve I really do not know what to say, maybe just that I will be disappointed not to see your images here if you do stop posting, and that maybe we can get to Arundel sometime before it gets too dark and the day much too short, Both these of the swan are good shots but for me V1 really is beautifully captured, I really hope that you stay

Hi everyone. I've just got back and checked my PF. Many thanks for all your kind comments and I feel really stupid, just to clear up a slight misunderstanding that's come about because of my lack of explanation. I'm not posting only because of time constraints, I'm away for a week or so firstly, and with work picking up, I thought it unfair to upload new images, allowing members to vote and comment on mine and not having enough time to comment and vote on theirs or anybody else's. I will be posting again, just not for quite a while. I must admit, disappointment had made me consider leaving but I decided just to take a rest.
Best wishes and kind regards,
Steve.
