Even better, lovely shot with excellent eye contact. I may possibly have used a wider aperture to blur the background a little more.

Brilliant shot. Did you really need 500mm lens, going to africa myself in November got up to 300mm lens is that good enough.

Hi Diane, Although the lens is a 170-500mm I don't always use it at it's full zoom setting. If you have a good 300mm lens you should get some really good shots. You will love it. I wish I was going back again this year. Enjoy.
