Taken at Whitby Goth Weekend 2001.The reason for the title was to get across that we are all differnt in our unique ways. This young Australian girl who was the most well manered and polite person and was most helpful. My biggest regret is that I did not get her address to send on a hard copy. The original was taken againest a stone wall which did not help the image, so I decided to add a differnt background. I hope you all like the final picture.

Thanks Suzi for your kind words of encouragement. On the subject of being judgmental- Of all my visits to the Whitby Goth Weekend I've only been turned down once for permission to taken somebodys photo and that was politly refused. I find then most well mannered people.
Steven, I particularly like this picture on two counts - as a picture and from the perspective of a parent who had a "Goth Changeling" arrive in the family.
He is now a 30 something responsible adult, married to a Goth and running a very successful life as a Business Manager.
Gothness still pervades their life (including Whitby) but has to be put off for work and put back on again for the week-end!
Its a funny old life innit?
Absolutly bloo**y brilliant. A sign of our MODERN times, and I would have it on my wall. Well done you, it's fab!
