I like the mood created with the colours and lighting. Nice image.

Mr Banks by Fefe

Mr Banks

V2 gets my vote as I think the background works better with the subject for a more pleasing overall image Smile
Nice detail in the bird.

Gloucester Quays by JakeK

Gloucester Quays

Just goes to show how people's tastes vary... because I really like this image. For me, the processing enhances the textures and lines of the building. I also like the resulting surreal quality.
There are a couple of overly bright areas at left and right of the image which tend to draw my eye slightly from the main subject, but otherwise there's nothing I would want to see changed.
Cheers -- Steve

A Sunny Day! by TilG88

A Sunny Day!

Superbly lit and well composed! Beautiful image.
Just one thing, if I may give some critique, the sea line at the horizon seems a little off horizontal. (A small detail that gets us all at some time Grin )
Otherwise, can't be faulted. Great work.

The Silent Railway! by TilG88

The Silent Railway!

Firstly - great image! (Initially caught my eye as I was snapping railway lines in the snow a couple of weeks ago.)
My mod:
As mentioned elsewhere, the image seemed a little underexposed - so I increased exposure.
The bridge area was slightly in shade... as the eye is led to this point I increased brightness in this area too.
Also darkened the sky and the immediate foreground slightly as this helps highlight the tracks leading up to the bridge.
Finally cropped some sky - I think this helps the composition as the image conforms more closely to the 'thirds' rule/guide.
Hope you find this useful Smile

Flight Over The Lake

Difficult to choose a prefered lead or favourite - all nicely eye-catching... I think they work best presented as a set of images.

The Abyss

I have an aquarium bubbling away to one side of me and a newly adopted pet rat sitting my other side. All adds to a great image Smile

Q

Beautiful image.
I would like to make comment... one ear seems to be very well lit. I can't quite decide whether it adds or detracts to the image??
Cheers -- Steve

The Ice Tree by Jellyfire

The Ice Tree

Another excellent image. One of those you can just stare at for some while, take in its atmosphere, and just smile Smile
I also headed out yesterday to capture frost-covered things. I don't like the cold, but it was a good day!

Into the light by tobyjug

Into the light

This is a spectacular image. Nice use of colour and silhouette.
If I may make comment... the sea line seems to be a little off horizontal. (Unless it's my eyes playing tricks. Again.)
Cheers -- Steve

Snowy Tree by katiejames_2012

Snowy Tree

I really like this image - nicely composed and good lines.
If you're looking for critique, I would like to suggest something... the fence on left is very bold in comparison to the rest of the image. It seems a little too dominant and draws the eye away from the subject of the picture.
I've uploaded a mod with fence colour desaturated slightly, contrast reduced and blurring applied to that area.
Cheers -- Steve
