This is a photograph of Blair Castle in Scotland but from a different angle, I spotted these poppies on the bank of a stream in front of the castle, so I climbed down the bank and took this picture. It was taken at 1/160sec at f/9, ISO 100 and using a 12mm-24mm lens set at 17mm. Any comments welcomed good or bad.

I love flowers in the foreground, but not always when they obscure what could have been the main subject of the photo - unless the flowers were supposed to be the main subject? If not, a somewhat higher viewpoint would have been preferable. Anyhow, it's still a nice idea, very cheerful and bright shot, and somehow I do like it.

Excellent shot. Like the angle. Pity about the people.
