This was taken a few weeks back when after attending a wedding in Scotland I spent a few days travelling around Scotland and the Lake District, anyone who has travelled Hard Knot Pass will tell you it is not for the faint hearted, several times after stopping to take pictures I would find that I could not pull away in the car as it was so steep it would not go, but it was certainly worth the effort as the views were fantastic. Details of this shot are 1/60sec at f/10, ISO 100 and lens at 65mm.
Any comments good or bad welcome.

Captures the atmosphere of the place beautifully. Love the mix of sun and shade on this.

It's very difficult to give an impression of the scale of a vista, and this image does it really well. It carries the eye through, and the colours and light are excellent.

Thankyou for all the kind comments, I am glad you like it as my wife said she won't be going back again, she is not keen on heights, so if I go again it will have to be on my own. Thanks again to all of you for taking the time to look and pass comment. Also thanks to IainH for his modification I like it.

Super composition Steve the colours and tones across your image are quite wonderful. Not the sort of place to go if you don't like heights, poor woman. You wouldn't want to pull a caravan up there.
I do prefer your own version or maybe a slight move to the modded version. Your image is so restful it would be a shame to spoil by making more dramatic.
All the very best
Dougie
