
I'm looking at this on my laptop screen which has the annoying effect of making the shot lighter or darker depending on my viewing angle so it's hard to gauge the actual contrast.
It looks best at its darkest which makes the light hitting the lighthouse and the sails really stand out, especially on the sails.
There appears to be a lot of white specks which I presume are probably gulls, which I might have been tempted to clone out to clean the image up a bit.
I am also wondering if a squarer crop might work? Removing some of the empty space to the left of the lighthouse, and to the right of the boat?
